When David and Patty got married (over 27 years ago!) they never thought about having their own photography business! They shot their first actual wedding in 1992. It was for a co-worker who was on a limited budget and they just wanted to help out. Since then, they have photographed dozens of weddings, high school seniors and special events. |
David has always liked to take photographs. He started in college with a Kodak Instamatic 500, which had some basic functions. He has upgraded his camera equipment through the years to 35mm SLR's. David now uses SLR digital camera equipment with 6.1 pixels. This means that photographic images can be enlarged to 16 inches by 20 inches or more with no distortion. He also uses 35mm SLR camera and film as a back up.
Patty has always been a “detail” person, making sure everything is in the right place. Her easy, pleasant demeanor helps the clients relax and get that great picture. Many times this is the first time the clients have been in front of a camera and it can be rather intimidating. Patty has worked with lots of brides and helps them feel like a princess on their special day. Seniors, who have trouble smiling and feel silly in front of a camera, relax because they feel comfortable with them.
Their fresh approach and experience will create a relaxed atmosphere. They have a studio and also love to use the outdoors as a backdrop for photos.
